i know that some online places like www.salesco.com does wheel refinish and rechrome, but youd have to call them for pricings. the bad things is usually it is just cheaper to buy new wheels or about the same price as to get them rechromed. i would recommend finding a place around where you live so you can save on shipping and you can have an idea of what kind of work the place does. as far as taking the chrome off of the wheel, i have no experience with it, but you could try to use one of those finish remover products and see if that works.

Correctly applied, chrome is almost impossible to remove from a wheel. If you were going to repaint it silver afterwards, you might be able to do it, but I would suggest getting the other 3 chromed to match. you can chemically strip the paint off them, then chrome them pretty easily.

your best bet is to call some local wheel shops and see what they'll charge to do it. don't waste your time tring to mail them halfway across the country. you'll pay more in shipping than it would cost for a new set of rims.

it is not worth it..

You'll pay too much for the cost of the rim to be chromed. If you don't care if they are chrome or not, just go buy a single wheel the same design, and try selling the Chrome one on Ebay or something....
