Man, I have put way too much money into my car for it to still be doing 16.1. I went to the track today, and after 10 runs, 16.1 was all I could do, Again!!! I hate this, I just installed the Greddy Cat back, I have Intake, and advanced timing, and my original stock run was 16.4. What the hell is going on? My goal of 15.99 and under has elluded me for too long.

Now that I have that out of my system, I have done all these upgrades and have yet to reset my ecu. Is it that important that it would be screwing me up this badly?

Any help would be much appreciated!

What do you expect???

there is no way catback will take off any MAJOR significant times...just be glad your auto is that close to high 15's. a y-pipe will definently get you there though! remember drive-train loss for most automatics is a *****!!!!

I gotta disagree, I should be there by now man. BluMax has just the Place Racing CAI and a nicer muffler+advanced timing, and he is all the way down to 15.7. What makes up for the .4 of a second that he has over mine? I refuse to believe that all the intake, advanced timing, and Greddy is worth is .3 secs from stock.

I need another opinion. DA-MAX, no hard feelings, maybe I am just going through denial?

Yeah you have a point......

maybe there are some maintenece/mechanical probs with the car ...like Chris91se had his y-pipe and CAI and ran a 16.8, but I have just an intake and run a 16.7, obviously there is something going wrong somewhere in his car. maybe thats the case with your car?

Maybe it is time for a tuneup?

Actually Mikey a tune up is not a bad idea, but it's like 10 dollars a spark plug. i'll let you in on a secret though..... when i had a tranny rebuild he said the VB was up to 2k specs. So i don't know but i have a feeling there is a trans-go shift kit in there.
We should drive each others cars too see if there is a difference. later man.

Oh, yeah and reseting the ECU is as simple as taking off the negative battery cable and putting it back on. i'm sure that was done when your intake was put on.

Yeah, Brian, I know how to do that. But dang it, I have a goal of the 15's by the end of the summer. I will do it!!!!!!! I will go and get a tune up, oil change, and then we will see, hopefully I can then get my 15.99999999~. Oh, and Brian, thanks for setting the bar so high for the VE autos in Washington!
