I've heard alot of you guys talk about the great performacne gains from a full exhaust system such as Y Pipe hi flow cat, and custom B Pipe. My question is just how loud are they? I am looking for something that would be no louder than stock, and if that is not possible, I want the difference in loudness/sound to be civil and more atuned to a luxury car as opposed to angry bumble bees in a tin can. Who offers one that would meet my criteria? Also, my OEM muffler is still in perfect shape, so could I keep it with a hi power exhaust system to keep the sound down?

Well, I just got through talking to Dallas at Warp Speed Performance, and he pretty much answered the same questions for me. It might help to give him a call.

But based upon the information he told me, the sound may be slightly more than stock on acceleration, but not much. And definitely NOT like the 'bee-in-a-can' sound we've often heard from.... dare I say this.... riceboy cars!

And that's MY $0.02 worth!

I'll try to give him a call in the coming week. I've heard pretty positive feedback on the forum about WSP so I may end up using them. What about using my OEM muffler? Will it work?
