WOW! You have been away for a while! Welcome back! As for all motor stuff, I am one of the fastest VEs out there. Bryan H, a member you might remember from back in the day ran some 14.3s with his all motor VE 5spd.

As for force induction guys, there are several guys in the 13s with their VEs and VGs.

But I don't think any 3rd gen has made it in the 12s. I hope to be the first with my plans. My short term goal is to do 13s NA, which will definitely come shortly.

I hope to be in that area when I get my car on a track this spring.

Oh yeah? Make sure you let me know if you ever come to NC.

BTW, let me know as soon as possible about those parts so I can have time to remove them if need be.

I hope to take the car back home to Albany GA when they have an import event. It will be cool to race with my buddies again and make a showing for an old Maxima. It's just an 1/8th mile track and part of the trip would be to see friends and family. Maybe I could talk my brother into bringing his Super Coupe up from Pensacola too. Let me know when & where you will be racing at and I'll see if I can make it.

I sent an email back to you on the parts.

i went to look at the max today with cash in hand. it turns out that the max wasn't as perfect as i originally thought. 3rd and 5th were gone. so i didn't get it. i don't really want to pay that much for a car that NEEDS work.
... and the search continues.

Yeah, for a 3rd gen that needs that much work, I'd pay $600 tops if the body was in great condition. I paid $400 for my parts car and the motor is just fine, tranny works OK, but might be on the way out. It might just need a flush. Regardless, I am just parting it out.

Good luck on your search.
