having problems with double clutching

hey guys evertime i double clutch from 3rd to 2nd gear and after i start to release the clutch in the lower gear too quickly the car jerks. i dont add any gas when releasing the clutch. anyone know how to make it smoother? ive released it slower but it takes too long to slow down. is it because the revs arent matched properly? need some advice thanks a million

He has undoubtedly been watching to much Fast and the Furious. I have seen idiotic posts like this one on various forums for a while now. Very, very, sad.

Irony: Claiming to hate ignorance while simultaneously wishing death on a complete stranger with a different opinion than yours. You think as well as you shift.

If my memory serves me correctly, you don't need to double clutch anymore because modern synchros are strong enough for this not to be nessacery. Experts?

Dumping the clutch works really well. And if you want to show off... power shift. Nothing like dumping your clutch at 5500+RPM and watching the cloud of white smoke billow from the under the hood.

Just be careful when you do it... like around a turn or something. I did it once and kept going straight into oncoming traffic

heal toe is using ur heal and toe to break and use the gas at the same time to match ur revs when down shifting

lol@internetautomart, just shift normal theres no need to double clutch, and why would*you shift without gas, going from no rpms to a higher rpms without giving it some gas = buckinnnng

unless you have good timing, then it's just a smooth wind down. I love it when mine is winding down, and I tap the gas around 2000 RPM, the exhaust goes into a old muscle car style.

i always rev match when slowing down. you can get better gas mileage doing it compared to solely using the brakes (note: i am being serious about the gas mileage. probably minute but technically your engine uses no gas at all when in gear and slowing down. hook up a wideband o2 sensor and you'll find out if you don't believe me. it'll read air when doing which means no gas. )

but yeah, it won't jerk if you rev match.

Also for a car to stay smooth and balanced during a corner.
