The link to the VTC TSB is there. There's never been a full writeup by an org member for a VTC rebuild.

The autozone repair site is good for reference. A Nissan factory service manual is MANDATORY. I woudn't touch this stuff without one. I happen to have one for sale here: Along with some other parts you might be interested. Discounts for pick ups of course.
