9004 9007?
well you will have to reaim your headlights so you dont blind everyone. and you will have to switch some wires, because of the positions of the ground and low beams being different on 9004 and 9007 bulbs. its pretty easy, especially if you already upgraded your harnesses. but reaim please.

well it only takes a couple of minutes and just the price of new bulbs so yeah I would say its worth it.
I had USDM non projector E36s and yes the lighting of the 9007 swap was much better imo...the beam of the E36s were too narrow for my taste...maybe I just didnt have them adjusted right.
The E36 swap using the projectors are the best lighting though and would be better than the 9007s but it costs a lot more to do.

by "upgrading the harness" i assume u r refering to the gauge of wire. is this so? how far back from the bulb connector should the upgrade be performed

Check Craigs site...i think he has a write up buy someone that did the relay harness upgrade. Or you can buy one already made for fairly cheap. I think I paid like $20 shipped for my upgraded harness a couple of years ago (included relays).
