bulbs in dash switches

so some were burnt so i took out all switches and replaced some with bulbs that i took off the l.rover disco. in my avatar.

anyways
how do i get at the fog light bulb in the switch?
i could get at all the other ones out from the back or with the ccontrol i had to take off the rocker switch cover.
the rear defrost looks like the same as the fog light switch. but that one isnt burnt out.
thanks

go to Craigs site and check out the write up I did for installing LED into those buttons. I show how to take them apart.

Good luck

radio shack has the bulbs. can't remember the part # but you should see them in the flashlight bulb section. unwrap the old ones from the holders, cut the leads of the new ones to size, wrap them on the holder, and replace.

LEDs?

Hey was wondering if it would be possible to swap the indash bulbs with high intensity clear blue LEDs? since its a 12 Volt supply you could run them through 1/2 watt resistors.

go to the write up I did (and mentioned earlier) on Craigs site...that is exactly what I did and the write up is about.

Check the post right above you by Craig. In his sig he has a link to his how to site. My write up is in there.

His site is also in the stickies.
