Of course, we are talking about with lowered suspension (1.2"), but still that seems awfully short! The roads here in Florida aren't bad, at least if you stay on the pavement. The limerock roads can get a little rough, but still aren't that bad. So, I'm sure they would last for longer than 12,000 miles.
I would like to hear from someone who has direct experience. Anyone out there?

you are lucky that you are in a warm climate because you might not know they are blown. during the last winter when i had mine on... anything below 25 degrees my rear struts froze solid as if there was ice inside and wouldnt free up until the temp rose above freezing. oh and when your front struts bottom out on simple medium size bumps, thats a wonderful indicator.
i dont know how long stock struts would last on a drop. there is only one way to find out. and when you get your "real world experience" please come back and report your findings. after all, thats what these forums are for - information

Most of you won't know the shocks are blown until you actually pull them for whatever reason. I thought my tokiblows were fine. I just happened to get a good deal on some used Konis. I pulled the Toks thinking I'd sell them. Nope. I wasn't even going to try to sell these things. Clearly 3 of the 4 were worn out at about 30k miles. I mean no resistance up/down. But the car actually drove okay.
