I think it is supposed to have 255 hp stock. I found a couple of places that show it as 255 hp, but it's probably somewhere in that range.
Wikipedia sucks. I looked up Nissan engines and it doesn't even include that one.

Its from the Cima http://www.terra2imports.ca/ab-slide...13114131357824
i've always heard 255 hp and 255 tq for the VG30DET. supposed to have better heads than the VG30DETT... the ports are larger at the very least.
my friend has one that he originally bought for a datuns 280Z but has different plans now.

its basically the same minus the ports of the heads and the intake manifold. however... i swear when i was looking at the VG30DET and the VG30ET side by side, they were very close. i should have measured my friend's det while i was in indiana last week.
one nice thing i found about these engines is you can likely pick one up for much cheaper than a DETT... my friend bought his for 500, same price i payed for my engine (granted we both drove to georgia to pick them up from the same guy i've seen good deals like that on these engines.)

Wherever it came from, it's sitting is a Bluebird 1800SSS... They were never avaliable in the states, so the engine's probably not from around here either. That's a sweet setup though... VG30DET in a coupe 510... that's almost better than an S20 in an original KPGC10.
Better meaning more desirable... Power is defiantely more... And that 510's probably lighter than the old GTR
Edit: TripleGmax, BackNblack... points to you two for saying it's a 510. It is, in a way, it's just a very special and desirable JDM 510
