It depends how much you want to lower your car. I have eibach on my max and the ride is a little stiffer than stock but nothing intolorable. My local shop was able to align my car after the car was lowered no problem. I didn't change any bushings but it is on my to do list. If you have the cash I would go ahead and replace all the bushings as well.

From the research that I did when I lowered my max eibach is da way to go for a good balance of performance and comfort. I believe eibach claims 1.2 inch drop both in the front and rear. Here is a link to my old max before and after it was lowered.

yea andy my VG sits just how yours looked after it was dropped, but i still have OEM sorings. Was wondering could my springs be going? i have a comfortable ride, nothing that would indicate failure of them. But just seems strange? I had wanted to due the eibach pro-kit the one that you did 1.2 inch drop all the way around, but the way my max is looking now has me thinking maybe not. i'll put some pics up so you can get a reference. Since i bought the car is has always sat like this? you can get a better idea if you go to my site

I didn't replace my bushings but when the car is lowered I believe more stress is being put on the stock bushings. My car still drives and handles good.

Lil'8 As for your car it does look like it was lowered. Maybe the previous owner lowered the car. But if you are sure the they are the stock springs them maybe they are tired(worn). The eibach not only lower your car but the springs have stiffer spring rates. Is your car loose on coners? I did mine for the looks and performance. If you are just doing it for the looks then I would just stick with the ones you have.

i am pretty sure they are stock springs, the guy i bought it from was the 1st and only owner he drove the car only on weekends. as far when in corners everything is very tight nothing loose when corning. hmmm maybe they are worn? i dont really want it lowered for look, just want to continue to have a comfortable ride, but still have more of a performance edge when needed.
