Tranny goes buh-bye...

Well, guys I JUST got back from spring break yesterday and the first thing I did was take my car out for a drive. I was pumped because I got an intake and some koni struts in the mail while I was gone. I was accelerating and bang!
I have no forward gears and no reverse...park still works. Well, I guess the tranny swap will be underway pretty quick. I'll probably start tearing her down today. At least I have all the parts to do it now!

On a side note I had to pick up some axle seals and went to a south florida nissan dealer. I got to test drive a new 350Z on the expressway. I need to stop getting behind the wheel of sports cars...now I have to have one! Man, they're quick!

Great to hear you got all the stupid little parts. Get the tranny cover plate and the clutch bracket spacer?

No spacer, I'll just use some washers.

What is the best way to remove the "bolts" holding the auto shifter assembly in place? They are flat on top...I'm assuming they must be drilled out?
