valve covers look nice! I would have left the intake silver, not diggin the black! looks kinda crappy. go get 2 cans of air craft stripper in the spray can at walmart in the automotive paint section
spray it let it set for 15mins
spray it down with a hardcore hose or something

1 more coat of paint on either of them and wow, that will be over kill man.
Valve covers are perfect, I love red valve covers. just never got into painting intake manifolds, but to each is own, did you think about polishing the intake manifold ? that would look HAWT instead of black

wow that chain is loose. Is the car still running? Check the tensioners because that is probably what is messed up and not the chain...its kind of hard to stretch a double roller chain that much. It would break first I imagine.
as far as your painting stuff...do what you like...not sure why backNblack is telling you how to remove the stuff when you put it on there and like it. I didnt see you ask how to remove the paint
I am thinking of sanding/priming mine smooth and painting it dark silver to match the other parts I will be painting (will have a silver/blue theme...the car being blue not painting parts blue). The silver I will use is the one I used to paint the dash and wheels on my old 92 (the one PA ownes now).
polishing the intake looks good imo but is a lot of work and is hard to maintain...on a daily driver I wouldnt do it. Show car...thats another story.

well im not wanting to strip the paint im going to try and recoat it
as of the daily driver yes it will be driven daily and that is what im trying to replace is the tensioners and the chain since the chain has been grinded down some how
i replace that and water pump
not sure how to get to the oil pump yet
as we speak i am out side pulling the side covers off next to the cam gear not sure how to pull the chain off with out taking it all apart
but hey 255k miles on it timing chain has never been replaced i think its pretty dam good
i will keep every one updated on what i do and every thing
also the vacume lines where do i get them and does it matter what kind theres alot that ripped when i pulled the intake off many different sizes too.....
i might just polish where it says nissan on the intake and the valve cover dont know yet till i get it running again
the car was running with the bad tensioner... just alot of clattering
most people said it was the vtcs but shows them wrong....
