hesistation

i am having hesistation in the morning on my 91 max se. It will act kinda like its the engine that could. then after it warms up it is fine. it kinda studders. but i am wondering if it could be the injectors going bad? or something else. a nissan mechanic i know told me that is the early stages of the injectors going bad. but then i read this:
You have the ve30de powered maxima. One common problem is that the engine coolant temp sensor's connector gets corroded and sends a false signal to the ecu. This can create hesitation problems. Look at your engine right near the fuel pressure regulator. It's the red connector right inbetween the fuel rails(transmission side of the engine) You have to undo the two sides of the clipped wire(don't break the red connector) and pull up. Clean both the female and male sides of the connector and apply some dielectric grease to the metal connections. Reconnect and see if that helps. It helped on mine and others here. Besides it's free. I noticed that this connector never had any kind of dielectic grease from the factory. It should have.
is this possible the problem? or the injectors?? help me give me some questions? or answers?

You have the VG, as you know I'm sure. I don't believe the coolant temperature sensor fix applies- but it could and is worth checking. I would start with the plugs, then do wires, and replace your distributor. Maybe your coil isn't delivering? Have you replaced your fuel filter lately? How about the O2 sensor? I would consider some fuel injector cleaner too. The people on the Maxima mailing list are fond of Chevron with techron cleaner. I just put some in my girlfriend's 92 SE last weekend.
