auto tranny hesistation?
well 80% of the time when i slam on the gas for whatever reason and it gets at redline it hangs at redline for like a full second and then shifts into 2nd... if i let off the gas a little bit it slightly bucks into second.. i haven't done any internal transmission work, the only thing done to it is synthetic tranny fluid. i dont think this is the normal hesistation everyone else speaks of. any ideas on things i can try or do you guys think this is no real problem?
by the way i asked nissan (for whatever reason i guess i was high that day?) and they said its normal on the maximas to hold out a little at the end of 1st gear because its a "family" car and not meant to be ran like that

if you are at WOT then in an auto it seems to be the trend, at least in maximas. I figure it is the car(computer???) trying to give you all its got since you go WOT(might be a stupid assumption). Mine has done that since I got it, doesn't do that at any other time. Mine will in fact almost redline before it shifts to 2nd gear if I go WOT.

yeah same here.. i think mine actually went into redline a touch at WOT before... so if your assumption is correct then an ECU upgrade would fix such a problem? anyone with the ECU upgrade know of that being a fix?

My A33B did this about 7k miles after I bought it (47k total) and was really
and annoying...
There is a TSB on it for the VB..Check the stickys.
I just got a VB from maximumtuning.net and called it a day.
