Does my 91 SE have a speedometer cable or is it all electronic?

So where can I unplug something to make the speedometer inoperable?

This will work for a VG Auto right? I see you have a VE 5-speed.

what legal reason could you possibly have for doing that?

Legal reason ? "officer my spedo said i was well within the speed limit" - dont think that will work.

on another note, driving my mates maxima for the first time the other day, and i swar i lookd down and the speed had just droped to zero and back up to 60km, and just after that the clock seemed to disipear, is this related? might check the fuses when we get home.
