Well, Ijust got my bimmer lights in but I'm havin a problem.
My grill seems to be too wide, anyone else have this problem? The lights are as tight upto the corner lights as possible, I even took out the rubber between them.

bmw lights

whoever said this mod was simple was a liar!
yes the grille dont fit, it needs slight trimming around the inner edges depending on how flush you want it to be.
good luck!

You have to adjust the portion of the lights close to the grille back behind the grille. Not only will this be a more accurate aim for the lights, but also solves your problem. If you went by the write up, then where it says to place your screws for the brackets, cut slits instead so that you can loosen the nuts a little and then slide the small bolts through the slit, thus adjusting the light in/ out. These are the easiest solutions I can think of for your problem and appearant frustration.

I see I'm not the only one, so I think I'm gonna take a dremel to the grill and paint it black (it's gold now} to match the car. Anyways thanks for the help, and the idiot who backed into my car forceing me to do the conversion.
