Help!: Stereo Question

Hi guys,


I just wanted to know if its possible to install a aftermarket head unit onto my friends 90 Maxima w/the Bose system?

Yes it is. I believe that you may have to replace all the speakers and wires at the same time. I'm sure that someone else wil respond and give you more detailed info.

yup

yea you can..i have an aftermarket kenwood in mien and works fine with the bose speakers..if some idiot at circuit city or tweeter tells you that you cant then hes wrong...

yea

exactly..i dont know where they hire these dumbasses from..first they shoudl check into it and then tell yoif it will work or not..i went to 3 differnt places until i just got ****ed off and bought the kenwood..wired it and it works great

It can be done even with the Bose stuff still in there. That person would have to get an adapter so that the amplifier on the HU does not get fried from the Bose Speakers 1 Ohm load. Otherwise, he would have to replace all the speakers.
