Intake question...

Recently installed a K&N Air Intake on my '89 GXE, I like the way its sounds, but I want less restrictions from the intake system. I understand the piping from the filter to the throttle body (mid-pipe???) has a resonator (underneath the pipe itself) there which helps quiet the car. I dont want it. What do I do?

Note he has a VG... I don't think it's as easy as cut and plug. I can't offer much advice except not to listen to the two of them.

True,i didn't notice it was for a vg...

I suggest for vg that you don't even do it...It is not worth the trouble IMO...

You have to cut the resonator part off of the intake and then seal the hole via a piece of plastic preferably from the piece you cut off it,and cut it to match the hole and weld it in there with a soldering iron or some epoxy...
