when i had my new wsp y pipe and cat installed the shop didnt reinstall what looked to be a ground strap back to it. what is the purpose of this? is a ground like i think or not? i re attached it but i couldnt say i noticed any difference since i did my blehmco grounding kit at the same time. i am just a little conused.

 

I thought that it might be a ground for the O2 sensor, but since I don't remember where it connects to I might be wrong.

mine was connected to the exhaust hanger for the y-pipe.....

so what would it not being attached cause??
