Swapping ECU?
Ive had the misfortune of meeting mr.broken heater during this winter. And so my ECU was showered with cooling liquid, and after a couple of months with weird coughing, low idlespeed and so on, it finally corroded into oblivion.
I did mangage to get my hands on a 90' mod british ECU, but it wasn't the right partnumber, and my max coughs and doesnt rev. (Doesnt start at all).
When I turn the diagonstics on the side of the ECU, it flashes 5 times green and 5 times red (all ok).
I found a couple on the internet, and they all have diffrent partnumbers?
Danish partnumber: A18-A16 E74
Norwegian partnumber: A18-A17 E75 (23710-89E10?) (The one I had installed was A18-A17 E75).
US partnumber: A18-A36-E92 (1990 mod)
US partnumber: A18-A13-E71 (1989 mod)
Anyone know if there are big diffrences in the Europeean (scandinava) motor and UK/US version?
(and Yay for finally beeing able to post a thread.. )
