Sprint Springs Ride Quality
#1
I need new struts for my 92se. So, since I'm buying new Tokico's, I figured I'd buy some new lowering springs since the suspension will be apart anyway. I was looking through the search function and found Sprint Springs to be ideal for me since they are cheap ($120) and have a large drop (1.8"). What I noticed was that people mentioned that they were 'soft'. What I want to know is, does 'soft' mean softer than stock SE springs, or does soft mean soft compared to Eibachs (which appear to be pretty stiff according to testimony. All I want to know is, will I be bouncing around when cornering or hitting bumps, or will it just have no net "sporty" effect on the ride? Thanks for any advice.

I suggest you guys look a few pages back...there were many posts, by me, that were regarding this issue.
I decided to go with Eibach.

Sprint Springs will have the "bouncy" feeling when you go over bumps. It handles nice around corners (unless it's bumpy). Struts definitely help stop the "bouncy" feeling. The struts make the car feel more firm and it helps when going over bumps. The car has more of a "sporty" feel to it with struts.

Well....
From what I have seen in this thread and others, I am now leaning towards some Suspension Tech springs; they are only about $30 more and seem to be of a higher caliber than Sprint. Are these compatible with Tokicos? I would assume so, but my mechanic advised me to make sure before I buy. Maybe a call to shox.com is in order. Peace.
