Help something bad

Ok I started the car which hasn't been driven for like two days or three. I keep stalling like no other. I try to put the car in reverse or drive and it just stalls. Finally I just mash my foot down and get it to drive. I have no power at all though. When I hit the stoplight it stalls. I have to sit there with my foot on the gas and the brake. It revs real loud and takes a while to shift gears (auto). I somehow make it to the highway and am cruising along and things are alright, but I got problems. I put my foot down and I normally the car responds quickly, but today it just stays at the same speed and if I put my foot down more it all of a sudden realizes my foot is mashed down and then it starts to accelerate and I can hear the engine real loud. Sometimes it will then shift gears but kind of hard or it will stay up at like 4000-5000 RPM and will not shift so I take my foot off the gas because I don't want to keep it there because the engine is really loud at this point. Well as I was getting on to another highway I had to slow down and at like 15MPH I couldn't get the car to go any faster. (I don't think it is the MAF cause I can still get to 60 and 70MPH) So I pull over and start the car up again. I am still having trouble with the stalling and the getting any speed. Somehow I manage to get the car back to 60 and nobody honked at me. So now I pray that there is no traffic jam ahead or anything that will cause me to stop cause that'll mean death. I hit a few stoplights and stop signs just before getting home and the car dies unless I have my foot on the brake and gas. I have recently replaced the sparkplugs and sprakplug wires and distributor. The oil needs to be changed and is maybe 500 miles overdue but I doubt that could be the cause of all this could it? I have gone more miles than that before and never had any problems. Does anyone have any ideas at all? I need my car to be in working shape because I have to use it again to drive 60 miles on Sunday. Please help me.

sounds like injector(s) or some other issue with your fuel system. you have to look at the source. start the car, don't put it in gear and check if all cylinders are firing first. it's hard to diagnose something by taking a shot in the dark.

check you alternator and battery.
I have seen them cause similar problems before.

I've had cars with multiple bad injectors that ran OK as long as I didn't use the A/C. never died until i hit that switch

Battery Is good and alternator too I think. I turned off the A/C as I was driving and no effect. The car is in park and it stalls on me still.

any update? sounds like your concern is only during slow speeds and at stops....the same time the throttle is almost closed and the iac should be opening up....doesn't sound like fuel or electric....i would look at iac/air intake, vac or electronic...(in that order)

Hey DaWifey it is the fuel injectors. Four of them have readings that are off. Couldn't reach one of them so I don't know if it is working. There is one good one though. I am going to replace all 6 though. So lots of business for internetautomart.

did u take resistance readings or just unplug them while the engine was running to see if there was a difference? would u recall what the resistance readings are supposed to be bychance?

the resistance should be between 10 and 14 ohms.
