turn signal indicator bulbs

anyone know what type of bulbs are in the instrument cluster behind the turn signals? I thought it would be cool to make them red.

194's I think, should be the same as the markers for the corners, but then again, I may be wrong. Also, the actual lens of the indicator might be green.

well, the lense behind the turn signal is green, but the bulb is no 194....it's bigger. I figure if the bulb is bright enough, it should over ride the green plastic behind the arrow, or the green could easily be changed to something more see-through and color-less.

i bought led bulbs that were 74 and they fit perfectly. the piece of green plastic does change the color, quite a bit. i bought blue bulbs and the look aqua. my color scheme is blue and turquoise, so it worked in my favor.

Are you talking about the front right one? There are two screws that hold it in the bumper...take those out and disconnect the harness that goes into it and you can replace the bulb. As for a fuse for the turn signals, I'm guessing that it's covered by the fuse labeled "Turn" in the Driver's Side Dash fusebox.

alright....so it's a 74 bulb. Thats good to know. It's funny though. I'm starting to like the green turn indicators. They contrst well with the blue. I think I might make them red though. We'll see. I'll post pics of my finished interior as soon as I finish putting the leather on the drivers seat. It turned out pretty nice though. I got the ambient lighting working, so it's like a BMW or Acura inside. I had to route a wire from behind the dash up the trim on the A brace, and through the headliner with a coathanger. It looks soooo sweet though. Very classy.
