no need...

theres no ned to replace the grills...i replaced my stock bose speakers with pioneers and all i did was go through my trunk, and take out the old speakers and wire in the new ones...it still has the bose grill rather then the pioneer grill but i actually think its looks better that way...

do this...

open your trunk, and uner the back window there;s a shelf where the speakers are attached to...if your inside the truck or something you simply take the speakers out cause there in an open space....liek i said theres no need for you to take off the grills because you can replace the speakers without having to do so...

Re: do this...

i dont this this is the case. i do not have bose sys. in my car. and when i look from the trunk i can see the speakers' outer rim is above the sheet metal? Also there are no screw heads from the trunk. from the trunk i can only see the bottom of a screw? TIA

here:

there should be 4 nuts being held by 4 screws on each speaker in the beack..take out thos nuts and take the wires off the speaker and it should come right off...if theres another problem then i would recomend askign someone else about the grill, but doing it from the top wont really accomplish anything, most cars at least every one ive seen you would have to do it from the bottom
