Master window switch bad?

Hey all, well ever since ive had my max the windows have been screwed up, my regulators are fine though....i think. My driver side window rolls down fine but only rolls up 1/2 the time, like ill push the switch up and it wont go but if i wait like a few hours it'll work. My passenger rear window will roll down fine but you cant roll it up from the front but you can roll it up from the back . Oh and also for the passenger front and drivers rear window The directions are reversed, so up is down and down is up(only from the master switch).

Does it sound like the master switch? or a loose ground

Oh and also my left break light is very very dim, even if i replace the bulb its still very dim, almost like its out.loose ground?

Sounds like the master switch to me...

Check your local junkyards or ebay for a replacement...

I second that; last year when I my car did not accompany me to school first semester we got a really huge rain right before I came back for a work weekend and the switch refused to work, but the keypad still lowered the windows. After "it" (whatever was wet) dried it worked fine again. In your case, with the switches' functions reversed, I'd wager bad switch. Like MyGreenMax94 said, eBay is a good place to look, they can usually be found for ~$30 with shipping.

If you have a multi meter you can take the switch panel out and test for continuity with the meter when pressing the swith up and down this will let you know if it is deff the master switch or not. A cheap meter will work, but if you are going to use it alot and plan on keeping it you will probably end up spending at least 80 bucks. They have unlimited electrical uses though

I have the same problem. I too have to wait till the thing dries up before it works. I have only had the problem about 4 times in the last year. But a main switch shouldnt cost you too much.. Its also pretty small to pocket..
