replacing dashboard/speedometer light

Hey, has anyone replaced their speedometer light? Mine seems kind of dim and I was wondering if replacing the bulb (or whatever is there) would help?

Cheapest addition to my car, 4 superbright blue LEDs that 2k3TitatiniumSE bought some some LED website and then sold me left over extras. Love the way it look and will be doing the rest of the instrument panel/P R N D 2 1 Tell me what YOU think

sorry, to answer your question, yes it will most likely help. I dont know if what I'm about to say applies to these bulbs (194) but according to Sylvania, headlight bulbs dont just burn out, they dim with time. so I guess it might apply to these type of OE bulbs too.

194s...though I think the other ones will work if need be. I think the 158s have a higher wattage from the factory and thats the difference. I may have it backwards though.
