crank shaft end (front) diameter?

crank shaft end (front) diameter?

looking for the diameter of the shaft on the front of the crankshaft (V6 3.0 SOHC)

having a look today but the previous owner of the car said the shaft is probably scored.. was going to buy a shaft repair kit (goes over end) thats what i need the measures

Either go to a junkyard and pick one up cheap or get an underdrive pulley while you're at it

You need to take the stock pulley off and look for scoring on the shaft that the previous owner said happened...IMO i doubt they scored the shaft,as the metal is quite dense...Unless they were complete idiots and used a crude tool to remove the old seal..

If there is scoring,then the sleeve fix probably will not fix it...replacment would be the best option...

Well kind of a pita to get the whole crank out and stuff i payed 350 for this car was only gonna fix the tranny but why not fix th leak to i figured this is just gonna be my DD car i dont need to spend a bunch.... the interior/exterior is almost 100% so it was a start for the price
