Like a switch, this VE is all of the sudden running very poor. It putters, so to speak. It's almost like it's misfiring. You can feel the pulsation from inside the car, like a constant shake, when barely rolling. And when you accelerate, from outside, you can hear it through the muffler, it's just not smooth. There's definitely something wrong. What do you think it could be? Thanks for any suggestions.

If the hesitation is constant from the time you start your car, and it is very noticeable (enough to make it hard to drive), then it's probably a bad fuel injector. From what I can remember, they cost about $300.00. If it hesitates once in a while, it's probably just a bad sensor. Either way, you should clean your throttle body and your coolant temp sensor. Those are two things that you can do to make your car run smoother (and faster) even if you need a new injector.

It all of the sudden seems to be constant. I really hope it's not an injector.

FIXED!

Best possible problem you can think of. For some reason #1 cylinder coil pack was not plugged in fully! The thing was only running on 5 cylinders. Un real. It's fixed now and back to normal.

That's good that you got it fixed. I was going to suggest that you pull every spark plug wire out and make sure you heard it snap when you put it back in.
