Third Gen Owners - I made quite a find

So Im a student at NC State and I was leaving campus the other day when I was passed by a LOUD third gen. I figured he must have rusted out exhaust or something but as I got closer to him I saw he appeared to be somewhat modded. I pulled up next two him at the light and we started talking. I noticed he had run his exhaust sideways out behind the front wheel well. Apparently he had a TWIN turbo setup with piping routed into the cabin (which was extremely gutted) where the turbos and/or intercooler sat. It was the wildest thing Id ever seen in a maxima. We didnt get to talk long but I told him to check out the Org since he hadnt heard about it. Didnt know if he had posted here or anything. Anyway, just thought it was an impressive find since I dont encounter many third gens.

As much as I want to see this car, I have to say that hot loud metal pipes in the passenger compartment dont sound like much fun to live with.

Are you sure it wasn't Aaron you meet, gutted interior, loud exhaust coming out the side due to his ehaust mod.

I know it wasn't Aaron I just couldn't resist

What would be the point of running an intercooler INSIDE the cabin????

dude that will only burn far more gas with both turbo and ac running. instead u could get a refrigerator condensor and set it up to set infront of the intercooler and in turn would use less gas as the condensor uses only electricity

It wasn't me. Who would have known there is a 3rd gen owner out there that is willing to gut their Maxima!
