i will get some up soon, but I won't lie, cosmetically it's B/B- or so, depending on your point of view. there's the usual rust in the rear door/floor junction, but I did a decent job of cleaning that up and coating with POR 15. one side stopped rusting completely, one side bubbled a LITTLE bit more but not bad. POR 15 really does work.

there is a small (smaller than your palm) dent on the driver's rear door as well, where someone backed into me.

basically the aesthetics of the car are not the selling point, haha. mechanically it's 100% and does have all the mods i mentioned above.

email me and remind me for pics

i dont know why some of you guys are worried about your cars dieing, theres a ton more parts and such out there you guys can still get for your cars not to mension engine swaps seem to be easier.

although i have been contemplating the difficulty of an engine swap in my car really would be but its fine now so meh

mmm, i'm still looking for this currently..
88' 300zx shiro

also would like to have this..
07 TL type s.. its pretty damn expensive though.. priced at $39, comes with every option, even NAVI standard, and a 3.5L, unlike the regular TLs 3.2L

but i have no money now, and my max giving me problems lately.. if i did have some, i'd probably get a tsx or something
the other day some biatch did a hit n run on me.. when i dodged his *** and scraped my left side.. should've ran into him/her head on
well, i'm goin to get my quote now; hopefully it's well over my deductible of 500 and i don't lose out.. and hope my rates don't go up on my next payment.....

I went with a 95 Acura Integra as my new daily driver (93 GXE died last year) and couldn't be happier. While the integra is a little smaller (but not much), it feels like a spiritual successor to the 3rd gen. I love mine, its great.

Maximas are so well built that they will never die. Instead, they just have minor problems. Fuel Injectors, Window Regulators, etc...

I doubt a 3rd gen will be rare in 10 years, you see lots of cars from the early 80's still on the road.

If i upgrade, which i am soon, due to the fact that the maxima is still wrecked -=[ . it's fixable, and will be fixed, but i don't have the time or money to do it right now. I will choose between the two following contestants (one is factual, and the other, well....it could be.)

You always have to disagree.

More suited toward younger folk THAN A VOLVO. Not suited to younger folk in general. Just more so than a Volvo.

Actually, just thinking about that on a side note... I don't really like any cars that are nessicarily a selling point for younger people (ie. Civics, Scions, Mazda's (the new line up of all the nicer looking one's, hate the solstice, etc.)

I'd rather own something I actually enjoyed (something like a VE-5 Mint Max) Or a decked out older 850 Turbo....Rather than a brand new "something" that was "cool" for young kids to have. Like all of these kids with tacky integra's at school that somehow think they're superior to everyone if they have a B12 engine.

But hey, I'm 16 I'll take what runs right now

For a while i was considering a G35 Coupe, but then i finally realized that's not really in my price range. Also just put in a new ATK rebuilt motor in my '93 SE a few days ago so i reckon i'll be driving it for a few more years. Then, a 5th Gen or if i could afford it by then a G35.

hey guys, i doubt anyone remembers me around here tho. so the story goes that my black vg max got totaled by this red little integra only because my max is worth too little and the insurance just wants to pay me for it.

so i went out and bought myself a 94 mazda mx-6 V6 5spd. its quite the beauty... i'm not happy with the power it is putting down tho, considering my old max had a few bolt ons on it and the exhaust sounded nice. but bleh, i love my new baby, i even bought rims for it.

what i'd really want tho, is a black 300zx vg30dett with T tops. I really like that style, none of the newer cars seems to attract me for some reason.

you cant compare a muscle car to a 4 door grocery getter. look up pricing on any 61-64 impala. drop top is big$ followed by ss's them impala 2 doors, impala 4 doors, then wagons, then beairs and biscaynes. where you can get 50g's for a fully restored 64 drop top, a fully restored 4 door impala may only score you 5g's. be real, how many joe-schmo cars do you see from the 60's and 70's? how much do you think a 4 door chevele goes for. sure as **** not as much as a 2 door matching number ss. maximas are only going to be worth $ if there's some idiot out there willing to pay for it.

happy halloween

i understand what your saying but cars have changed alot since the late 60s i dont think the 4door thing is as big of a deal today, its pretty easy to consider a VE5 a muscle car of the ninties it was one of the fastest of that era and basicly just as fast as the true muscle cars of the early 90s aka mustang/camero but theres no point in arguing hopefully this site will be around in 30 years and somone will remeber to bring this thread back from the dead and we will see who was right untill then to each his own

I really hope that day never comes. I will rebuild as many time as I can until the thing just falls apart. Something about the 3rd gens that the others don't quite have but I can't put my finger on it.
