ok this is a bummer,new cone and intake new tranny and now a blown head gasket What to do?I would like any opnions on this matter that you could offer.I love my car and want to fix it the best way but what is the best way at this point?Please help me here if you have been thru this. the water is in the oil and I drove it about 6 miles before I knew what had happened.the car sounds fine but it is blown the head gasket for sure.I think due to a broken bolt in the head connecting the manifold..HELP GUYS

 

Couple of days ago I thought I also had a blown head gasket, but fortunately it was just the heat exchange hose.. You can change it yourself or be prepared to fork out some bucks to let a mechanic do it..

 

ok,but there is water in the oil,that would be gasket ,Right or am I missing it here

 

if the engine is still running okay and you've got water in your oil (or oil in your water).. then most likely it is the head gasket.

BUT..

I would highly suggest a compression test first.. if you don't want to/can't do the work yourself, just drop it off at a shop and be ready to fork over $1000 in a few days.

let's hope for something less drastic than a head gasket, but from what you're saying, that's what it sounds like to me.
