I just got my y-pipe install this morning and boy is it nice. I love the new exhaust note that comes out now. The old pipe came off really easily, all it needed was a little elbow greese, and the new one went on with out a hitch.

I had heard from previous posts that the Cattman y-pipe rubbed the front sway bar and hung too low in front, none of this is the case on my car. It sits about 3/4 of an inch above the sway bar and no knocking during hard acceleration. My car sits about 1.2 inchs lower due to the performance suspension I have, and the pipe doesn't come close to hitting anything. Overall I'm very happy!

Thanks ngthing and Cattman for the pipe! Peace!

Performance Gains?

Any noticable increase in performance? I know the Y-pipes increase performance, but was it immediately noticeable? Just curious, cause I'm thinking of buying one in the near future.

I noticed differences from the beginning. It seems to pull more between 1500 to about 3700RPM's. And things seem to get up and go quicker now. Could be in my head but I think it's real. Haven't driven it around enough yet to be more concrete.

Next up: "THE CHIP"!!

The only thing now is that after driving it around a bit I'd like to change the exhaust note to sound different. I'm thinking about a Remus muffler. Does anyone know anything about these German made mufflers and how they sound/how much noise they make?

200 miles huh? Why's that? Where did you here that from?

Your computer will take time to adjust its settings to the new y-pipe, after a short "break in" everything will be running up to par and you will see the full effect of your mod
