they come with their own sending units (except volt) that have to be used

Well if your getting 20% you must be an employee. I would check and see if those are special order or not. If they are special order you are not supposed to get a discount. Thats what swayed my decision to get the procomp ultra light.

i work for advance here on the eastcoast and i would personally order from keystone. employees get items at cost, which is most of the time better than the advance 20% off garbage.

plus keystone has a big fat catalog with all sorts of goodies and gauges

im picking up a 92 se tommorow, im excited!!

huh?
you mean if you order from keystone as an advanced auto employee you get it at advanced's cost? but if you order from advance's special order dept you only get 20% off?

eh, I'll find out the whole story hopefully eventually

you have to use the sending units that came with the gauges.
you will need to "T" them inot the existing setup, it will not affect the reading to any major degree

but you also need to make sure the threading is the same as the cars
most gauges come in SAE rather than metric fittings

yeah advance can be a bit of a rip off. Regardless of what you order through keystone, you always get it at advance cost. Through the special order department or (pdq) its always marked up and even with the 20 percent discount, its never as cheap as keystone..

i monted my water temp sender in an adapter that requires u to cut a 2 inch section of rad hose out and replace it with the adapter.

mines kind of like this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/34MM-...spagenameZWDVW

i dont have the gauge hooked up all the way yet, the manual states the sender should be grounded, how did u guys do urs?
