Humming noise from rear

Guys,

I am getting a humming noise from the rear of the car. First the car is really idling bad in the P and N position especially in the AM, what is interesting is that when in D the problem seems to lessen but I still get a slight miss as if the car wants to cut-off but it doesn't. It runs good in drive with good pick up. I heard the humming yesterday after I turned the car off for about 10 seconds or so. I thought is was the power antenna motor but the radio was off.

Any ideas of the problem I may have...

tks

it could still be your antenna making the noise.
my old vE did that, I had to unplug the antenna in the end.

I have only had that type of noise twice from the rear of the car. One was the antenna motor just kept running even after the antenna was down so I disconnected it and left the antenna up. The other was a little quieter and it was the fuel pump.
