Seat belt chimes

After 13 years after Nissan dealer inactivated the seatbelt chime (they just did it without asking), the chimes goes off even when the belt is fastened. How fix it ? -- to stop it from chiming (the seatbelt light also is lite)?

The chimes and light sometimes goes off by itself or sometimes just the chime -- light stays on, but usually turns off after less than 20 sec after the chimes. Where are the wires or connectors? Sometimes shaking the belt stops it, but sometimes not. I can't make a clear connection on what causes or stop it.

Or bad circuit -- electric door locks need resoldering. Where's that circuit

I had to deal with this also. There's a write-up on Craig Brace's page on how to by pass the sensors, and there's also a wire in the TCU situation that will stop that awful chiming ordeal. I tried the bypass and it lasted a few days and then started doing it again, maybe one of the jumper wires came out I didn't check though. I'd say figure out which wire in the TCU to cut and go that route, it worked for my friend.
