If it was a 5spd, I reckon what ever price they would ask, there would be somebody to pay it, just like before *ahem* $10k *ahem*

I noticed that. Did you bother calling the stealership? Maybe I will tommorrow at work, just to inquire about how much they plan to sell it for, haha. The body might be in really good shape.

I wonder what it would take to import into US? I could use 1 more.

It has 1/10 the mileage of my wife's 94 SE with same options.

No, I didn't call them. Figured it would be one of "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" moments. (and it's not a 5-spd)

Hahahaha. Okay, I just called them; it was a granny car. It's affordable ($6700), but since a lot of us here know our cars, those were probably 28K tough kilometres, and probably not spent on the highway. I'm more curious as to whether there are any leaks, and how smooth it runs. I'll be in the area this weekend; I just might pop in to check it out and see the service records.

Actually...., I'd bet that the 'granny' aspect of this car is what makes it a GREAT car. I doubt it's had a rough life.
Case in point... My great aunt just gave my mother her old 1986 Buick with 22,000 kms on it. Needed belts, hoses and tires (dry from lack of use) but was otherwise truely MINT. The car now has 24,000 kms on it and it's running strong.
My dad went through her old records and found that older people sometimes seek perfection....., and look for someone to talk to...., so they take their car in for service it really doesn't need. Like the bill she had for an oil change and a passenger seat track lube. That oil change (according to the records) came only 18 kms (yes EIGHTEEN) after her last oil change. LOL
$6700 is out'a my price range of oh.....about 0 (getting married). Bet you the dealer 'stole' it for $500 - telling the old lady he could 'only' give her that much cause it was such an 'old' car. (dealer practices bother me sometimes - can you tell??) I hope someone who will appreciate it ends-up buying it tho.
