Bose Buzz

I've recently developed a buzz in the rear passenger side speaker on my Bose system. It's really a bad distortion of the sound being played through that speaker. Oddly, it seems to go away after the cabin has heated up for a while. Any ideas on what I should look for here? Could it be a blown speaker, a broken cone or a bad amp? Is the amp on the speaker or in the radio head unit? Just wanted to find out what I should look for before I pull everything apart and anyone's experience with this.

the amps are on the speaker itself. i would suggest that you swap the left and right speakers to see if the problem stays with the speaker/amp unit. it would be easier to make some extension wires rather than actually move the speakers.

No, It would play music, just very distorted with a matching vibration. It then calms down, after 15-20 minutes and sounds normal again.

Any idea what goes bad on the amps? Is this the electrolytic capacitors?
