Alright, I know there was a post a little while back by mszilves about doing a full 2.5" exhaust on a VE. But I'm thinking about upgrading my exhaust sometime soon and wanted to know optimal sizes for a VG, without taking over his thread.

Anyway, I have a completely stock setup right now. And I can really only get one part at a time. So for now, I'm leaning towards a Warpspeed Y-Pipe; but I'm not sure what size to get. Since everything past the Y-pipe will be 2", will it be safe to get a 2.5" Y-Pipe? Or should I go smaller? I do not want to lose any low end, but gaining some high end would also be a plus.

So would the Y-pipe be a good idea for this? Or should I start with just a stock setup and a better muffler/outlet?

Why not just get the complete 2.5" exhaust from WSP?

 

The warpspeed y-pipe is the best upgrade you can do for these cars imo..

IIRC warpspeed only makes one size [2.5 inch] for our cars.

 

Well... Firstly because I'm lacking funds Will a 2.5" Warpspeed pipe fit with the rest of the exhaust?
