20 mm is almost an inch, if you use a smaller spacer you dont have to cut anything up...................less work.......................more happy....................

but now you need some juice or air

no but he stated it hits the strut so he needs spacers which will stick it out a little more depending on the size of the spacer.

If it does he will reshape the fenders though which will tuck it all back in.

Ok, wasn't sure. I always put 32 in regular 15" tires. The tire doesn't say anything, just not to exeed 40 when setting the bead.

You can make them fit but they will stick WAY out of the fenders. In order for them to look good you would have to do extensive body work and if you are asking how to make something fit then I assume you do not have the skill to make them work.

I would pass on them if I were you.

So far I defenitly need 25mm rear spacers. The current studs arn't even long enough to get a lug on. And it looks like I only need to roll the rear fenders.

When I buy spacers they come with studs. The Fronts will have longer studs. The rears will have studs already in them.

for 8" wide I would use a 235 or 245 wide.

for a 9" wide, 245 would be too stretched, I would go 255 wide.

You can get the correct hub centric rings for the Maxima that fit those wheels so it will be easier to get a Maxima spacer.

Or you can take the hub centric ring thats in there now and get a spacer that has the outer ring for the center of the wheel and inner of the Maxima.

The best thing would be to get the correct hub ring for the wheel that fits the maxima and then just get hub centric spacers for the Maxima. That way if you ever wanted to get other wheels you can do it easier.
www.ICHIBA.com makes the spacers you need to be hub centric

So I think a 1" spacer will do for the front.

The rears hit the strut with 1/4" to go. Probubly 1.5" spacer is needed.
ICHIBA makes 25mm spacers that bolt onto the hub, then you could get 5, 10, 15 or 20 with the included longer studs to add to the 25mm hub kit and make any width you wanted.

SWEET IDEA.

245 would rub on a 8" wide rim if you are lowered. in fact i was lowered 1.7inches and the 235 rubbed in the back. i had to roll my fenders for it. 255 would call for some major modification.

Did they rub with your G wheels? That looks so nice BTW.

My 97 COBRA wheels had 245/45/17s on them w/o rubbing lowered on EIBACHS(more back spacing - 17X8). If I kept those wheels I would have had to gone with a 235 when I switched to INTRAX.

Thats the brand I'm going with when the time comes.

BTW, did u you know you can edit your post. So you don't have... 8 seperate post?

There are some older pics here. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=445808&page=2 It's long since been reconstructed but you get the idea.

The tires I have are 245 40 18 They are stretched a little, not even close to be unsafe.

25mm= about an inch.
THose won't work because they are not hub centric. Although I emailed the seller and told him they arn't. But claims they are exactly what is pictured and that that are hub centric... He's an idiot.

If you look in the last post you made. You can see a little button that says Edit.

Respect your Elders! HAHA!

I used to go by "Mr. Rose" but I've changed e-mails and had to re-register.

Seriously the ICHIBAs are not hub centric?!!! WOW! That's news to me, but I never had any. My MAXIMA sported H&R. Let me think... There was another brand that made them flat, and the hub centric rings were extra.

Oh yeah... "PROJECT KICS" that's it...

http://www.mackinindustries.com/wm/kics/kics.html

"Direct from Japan, the KICS wide thread spacers are used to bring out the wheels of your car outer to give aggressive look and close the space gap. The KICS wide thread spacers are also used to clear spacing between your big brake kit from the wheels. These spacers come with new studs already installed with all necessary hardware. Available in 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, and 30mm for most popular Japanese vehicle applications (1.5mm / 1.25mm)."

FOUND THEM HERE FOR $115...

Of course you probably know all this stuff.

Hey. I noticed you are in North Atlanta. If you need some wrenching done, or an extra brain on the job, let me know. I'm local to yah.

That ebay link wasn't hub centric.

The ICHIBAs are.

If they don't have a ring in the middle, they are not.

I think youre in luck. I bought a pair of 25mm hub centric wheel spacers for a maxima a few months back to push out the rear wheels but with the offset im getting with the new wheels, I wont be able to use them anymore. Ive tried finding the same exact ones I bought to show you but it seems like he doesnt sell them for maximas anymore. I paid about $110 after tax but if youre interested, just looking to break even. Id take $100 shipped. Let me know
