torque number for ST front stabilizer bar

anyone here still have their ST front stabilizer bar manual. Could you please tell me what is the torque number (ft lb) for where the bar connects to the control arm? I remembered it was around 18 ft lbs but I could be wrong. Thanks.

I just called ST today and they told me it should be the same as factory setting? But the thread seems a bit wider than stock though. It doesn't quiet make sense. Oh well.

Dude, seriously, tighten until it slightly bulges the bushings. We are not lying to you.

Stock has two nuts, the smaller one takes 15ft lbs, while the bigger one takes.... I can't remembered. So yes, the stock is relatively smaller. Either way, stock sucks. My stocks sway bar/control arm joint broke off when I made a sharp turn 3 years ago. It scared the daylight out of me.

Humm.... I guess you got lucky but if it got over-torqued, then it'll screw up your alignment... Last time, it screwed up my camber angle on one wheel. I guess it must be because I over torqued it to 24ft lbs.

if you screwed up your camber from tightening the sway bar bushings an extra 5 lb, then you've got something SERIOUSLY wrong with your suspension.
