bad idel and take off still help fast!!!please

so my car is driving me crazy i have replaced 3 fuel injectors/spark plug wires/ 02 sensor/new y pipe and cat/ cap and rotor are basically new and so are spark plugs. and i am still getting a very rough idle sometimes to the point were i feel like it is going to die especially if i put on my rear defrost. and i am getting very bad sputtering and very slow take offs up until around 3000rpm. now i have posted with this problem a couple of months ago and when i replaced the fuel injectors it stopped and now that last two weeks it just started again. any one have any suggestions? i am tired of throwing money into this thing. I'm a college student i can not afford to...please help?

It's possible one or two of the other 3 injectors you didn't replace have gone bad,it may also be a dirty/bad idle air control valve, but not likely...

I concur with the other fuel injectors, especially if your symptoms went away completely and now the car has the identical problem.

I had a bad one replaced and two weeks later another went bad. That's when I just got all of them replaced.

check your vaccum hoses to the egr and pcv valves they may be dry and cracked. $3.00 for 2ft of hose, needle nose pliers, and the 1994 maxima service manual from the autozone website to see what they look like (see the last sticky for the gen 3 max).

So it stopped for awhile then started doing it again? The process of elimination says there's either crud in the system, or the injectors weren't seated well. Also, I've read some stuff here about rebuilt injectors having problems sometimes.

Have you checked all electrical connectors under the hood, when replacing the injectors, you may have moved some bad connectors a bit which made them work for a while, but now they have gone bad again. It's a bit of a long shot, but cleaning up connectors is easy and cheap.

I don't see that you changed the fuel filter..this can also give you erratic issues

sorry guys i have been at work. my fuel filter was changed about a year and a half ago. the injectors were brand new from napa for 80 bucks about 3 months ago or so... i have not checked the hoses yet ill do that tomorrow it was cold at 8 this morning when i was changing the wires.i cleaned all the injector connectors very well when i changed the fuel injectors so they should still be ok..my altinater(sp?) belt is making a little bit of noise but i did not think that can make that bad of a sputter.ill look into buying new hoses i know i need a new one on my fuel rail it leaks here and there but i did not want to do that until i needed to change a fuel injector again which might be the case here. i can do it, it just sucks and takes for ever....after doing it 3 times i have it all memorized.

I found it was my fuel injector wireing. I replaced the fuel injector clips on 5 of the 6 as one is under the intake manifold and I did not want to **** with it. runs much better but my idle is still at 1100 for some reason.

My max basically did the same thing, found a broken wire at the ECCS. Changed it, and runs like a champ.

got any pictures or diagram of where this could possibly located?

I got a mysterious broken wire running from my cat supporting bolt. I have no ideas where that goes. It doesn't look like it has any conductor inside, just a stupid wire.... is that it?
