whenever i brake, it seems like my car is bouncing a little bit. i just bought 4 new tires to try to fix the problem but still no luck. there is air in my tires and everything. any ideas on what it could be? it seems to be bouncing more on the front passenger side. thanks in advance

Sounds like a broken strut to me. I would get all 4 replaced. I am currently wrestling with the Koni or Tokio question myself.

Konis are adjustable BUT it appears that the sturt has to be off of the car to adjust it.... bummer

Toks are reported to not last long and with a deal I get aren't that much cheaper than Konis...
hmmm

So wait

You have air in your tires?? You don't say, someone givess this kid a cookie... haha j/k its your struts. try this. go over a road that has a lot of bumps. go over that. your ride should not be floaty at all. how long have your struts been on your car?

If you dont want to spend the money on Konis or Tok's you can get KYB's....They semm to be a good strut for not a lot of money...I got all four on TireRack.com for $190...
Good Luck......

have you checked this?

you say the front right bounces more, have you tried checking your hydraulics? maybe one of the switches got hit.

easy way to check..

Go to the front of the car, lean on each corner of the car with all of your strength, pressing it downwards then let it go... If it bounces once and stops, it's still okay, if it bounces more then once, it may be gone.. It's only bouncy when u press the brakes? How about going over a rough road?
