What should I do with my Max?

I'm having a dilemma with what I should do with my 92 SE 5spd. I'm buying an '07 WRX, and I simply don't have the room to keep the Maxima around, as much as I'd like to. I just love the car, but it's getting old (240,000 miles) and I need the driveway space. It's in pretty good shape, with the most pressing issue being Tokico struts in the front being worn out. The paint is still in good shape, with the exception of some yellowing on the side trim pieces (the car is white). The VTC's were replaced (not rebuilt) about 60,000 miles ago, and the car runs strong.

I've come here because I've been a lurker on these boards for years, and I know how passionate everyone here is about their Maximas. I know with the age and mileage of the car, I won't be able to sell it for hardly anything, but at this point, I'm just looking for someone who will take care of her and cares about the platform.

I will be happy answer anyone's questions, and I'll take some pictures if anyone is interested. I would have put this thread in the classified section of this forum, but I'm interested to see what you guys think I should do with the car.

Hopefully I'll be about to find a home my Max, rather than just selling it to someone looking for a dirt cheap car.

Well,i would say go ahead and post it in the f/s forum here, but hardly anyone actually sells their car in there..

Most people have better luck selling locally..

How much?

Get an EVO instead of WRX.

I would say put it on Craigslist.

You could also post it in the FS section here, but like GreenMax said, not many people have much luck. Usually someone that wants your car is at least half of the U.S. away from you. Don't ask me how I know this

That's a pretty common story among local people that want it.

No big deal. It's still a nice car and I own it. It just sits in the garage waiting for the right person to come along. I did drive it a few times earlier this week, but then the snow came and I only have liability on it, so back to the Tundra.

Give the car to me. I'll give it a nice home and I'll send you pictures of it occasionally. It could be my personal toy.

I'm not a big fan of Mitsubishi, so that's why I never really considered the EVO. The '07 WRX is a blast to drive though, nice torque with that new 2.5 liter engine. That new engine also responds to mods much better than the old 2.0 version.

I live in Virginia Beach, so if there's anyone around who's interested, I'd love to have an enthusiast get the car. I'll go ahead and post it in the classified forum here, probably for around $1,000 bucks, which I think is a steal, even with the high mileage. Like I said before, I'm more concerned with it going to a caring owner than making money off of it.

Almost forgot, but it's got an underdrive pulley from ASP, Addco rear sway bar, ACT clutch, and a strut tower brace from Courtesy Nissan.

You know, I actually purchased my Max from Autotrader, a long time ago. I think I may take her out for a drive tonight, as the Max hasn't had any attention since the WRX pulled into the driveway.
