What is it worth?

Just curious,
I have a pristine condition, 94 Max GXE, color Gold, Like new, very clean cloth interior.

Absolutely no rust, 130,000Mi, on VG Motor, Pioneer Supertuner/CD, FSTB,totally stock & clean under hood, New tires, Meticuously Maintained & serviced, Synthetic Oil changes, tranny flushes, etc. No scrathces, paint looks new......Many people have been asking me to sell, I think that I will sell since I want to pick up a New Harley Davidson soon while supply is up! What is a fair price for a car in this type of condition? Was thinking $3500.00 firm?
What do you think?

I can't even sell my car for $3900, so I doubt you will get $3500 for a cloth interior GXE with over 100k.

I guess anything is possible, though.

Car runs like a top, and was adult owned, I'm 2nd owner, all hoses, plug wires, plugs, distributor cap & rotor, + new air conditioner condensor, with R134a Freon recharge, air is ice cold now, new drivers side cv-axle, custom Maxima FSTB (Red), timing belt was replaced at 75K, sould be good til, 140-150K, New Nissan Muffler, All Nissan replacement parts! No rust on car or underneath, my mechanic is amazed at condition of this car, Original GXE Rims, New front tires, rears are good for another 20K or so. New Pioneer Supertuner/CD & Pioneer replacement speakers. If I don't get to sell it I will probably drive this car into the ground for another 5-6 Yrs. People have been bugging me to sell it to them, I probably will sell her, soon if price is right.

I just got a 1991 SE 5spd black on black with 200K+ miles.

Body is good, consistant for its age. Mech is decent as well. small oil leak, small coolant leak.

I helped the previous owner put in new plugs, wires, radiator and battery a few months ago.

He sold it to me today for $400.

If you are convinced you can sell it for that much, go ahead. Hooray for you if it sells for that much.

The general consensus on this board is that you are unlikely to sell it for that price. If you want to argue about it, why even post?

I can pretty much guarantee my car is far nicer than yours (plus, it has lots of mods) and I can't sell it for $3900. I also can't recall anyone in the last year that has an unmodded 3rd gen either bought or sold for more than $3k.

Unfortunatly not many people want these cars. They are willing to pay more just for 2 things:

Sadly enough our cars just don't appeal to the general consumer due to the lower gas milage for lower horsepower, which is a shame. Owning a 3rd gen is a double edge sword: Its retail value is worse than a Honda/Toyota which makes it hard to resell, but it can be one of the greatest cars you will ever own and dirt cheap to buy.

That's true. If you look around, you can find a strong running 5-speed 3rd gen for <$3k and it will have more options and more hp than any comparably priced Honda or Toyota from the same year.

Another one is the 240sx. I have seen several s13s for sale for $3500+ with over 150k miles. Usually stock except for rims and stereo and maybe a drop. It sucks that a base model 1989 240sx with more miles will sell for more than my modded Maxima.
