Nissan, Lexus, Infinity....all about looks the same to me anymore. Appears you may have an answere though to why Nissan seems to be taking the sport aspect out of the Maxima, as partially indicated by their anticipated removal of manual tranny option in newer Maxes. This car boasts (tentitavely) a 6 speed manual option with 3.5 liter 270hp engine. Hmmm. I understood Nissan had lowered their HP rating on the new Maxes due to "required change as result of newer/universal ratings applied to all automakers?" Or are we to see the beginnings of the first stock 300hp Max? Nissan has to step it up or they'er going to get stepped on by higher HP numbers by Acura TL-S, etc. Who am I kidding, We'll be lucky to see 271hp or 275hp on newer Max unless they go complete redesign to V8 and rear wheel like big boys BMW, etc. Please set me straight guys.
