CTS Location on 93 gxe (VG engine)

Does anyone have a picture of where the Coolant Temperature Sensor is on the VG. I am about to replace and don't know where it is.

If not, can someone explain me where I can find it.

Thanks in advance

Alright, I just finished changing the CTS on my car, took me less than 15 minutes.

At first I thought there might be a chance that my temp gauge start working again but no. Anyhow, the car seems to idle much better (smoother) with no jump. Or maybe it is just my imagination. I will post later after testing the car more in order to conclude the repair.

As for the process of doing it, it is very easy and anybody can do this. You do not need to drain coolant, I just put a rag beneath the location of the CTS and when it was taken out, I just put the other one in right away. Only a few drops of coolant no big deal.

Anyhow, thanks for the help MyGreenMax94.

Here is a picture of the old CTS

The little sensor directly opposite the cts controls the temp gauge..If replacing it doesn't fix the gauge, then a fauty intstrument cluster would be suspect..
