oil question

can i use DOT 4 for my brakes? will it harm the o-rings inside the brake master cylinder? also i was thinkin' about changin' my tranny oil, what can i use to replace the regular gear oil for my tranny?

you can use DOT4 if you want it's 100% compatible with our brake system.
in your tranny you need to be 100% sure that you get GL4 NOT GL5, GL5 causes Syncro issues.
Napa is one of the few places that carry the correct GL4 fluid.

It's made by coastal, and no it is not gl4 oil....The coastal stuff is compatible with gl3/gl4/gl5 as a top off fluid only,it is not to used as the primary oil in the transmission...

I mean that you can use DOT4 with absolutely no problems.
It's only DOT5 that has an issue as it is silicone
That being said there is a DOT5.1 that can be used without a problem.

any brand that ONLY states GL4
