My struts are almost gone. I have been wanting to lower my car, 1993 gxe, for a long time. I figured now is as good of time as any. I have factory rims and tires on it now. What is the most you would suggest I lower it with out rubbing? I am going to put 16 inch rims with low profile tires on it, but I cant afford to do both at the same time. I was going to do the rims first, but then the strut thing was brought to my attention. I was thinkging about going 1" to 1.5" lower now. Also what kind of cash is this going to take? Thanks.

you won't have any trouble with rubbing with any lowering springs. they're designed to be used with the stock rim/tire combo.
