Power Window Problem

Power Window Problem
Is there a detailed thread on how to remove the REAR door panel and find out why the power window doesn't work anymore? I can hear the motor going but seems to have too little power to move it. I need to know how to trouble shoot this too if possible.

my easy solution bro is disconnect the connector to the motor in the door take a 9v battery (like an R/C car battery) and see by changing the way u put the wires from the battery to the connector going to the motor if the motor is running right or not and from the sounds of it your having mechanical failure from the motor as its struggling to work at its normal voltage to roll up and down. u can also take a DVOM (Digatl Ohm Volt Meter) and check its ohms of resistance coming from the connector thats going to the motor and see if its really high which would state thjat its having to draw more voltage to try to roll up your window. or maybe it is that the wire on the trace has jumped its trace and not letting it roll up nor down not sure as u only gave me so much information to think from.

My driver's side front window is doing the same thing. I am convinced that the regulator is going since that is the only one on my car that hasn't been replaced. I replaced my passenger side rear window regulator about 4 months ago and I followed the guide on Craig Brace's site. It is easy to do and straight forward. It should only take 45 minutes to an hour if this is your first time.

yeah the fronts and rears are the same. I had to help another .org member do his. it took me 15 mins tops. 1 ratchet w/ 1 socket. and 1 magnetic phillips head screw driver. there are 2 bolts holding the upper and lower bar. 3 holdering the motor. and 1 holding the window bracket to the bar.

When I bought my car the old own rigged the back left regulator to hold the window open with a tub clamp and a twisted arm. I had to change it out.
Recently my front passenger is going out. I say just change em all they go out at about the same time.
Each is a 15 minute job. All you need is someone/thing to hold the window closed. Take the door panel off have someone hold your window up. Unscrew the assembly from the window and the door. unscrew the motor. Then just reverse the process with the new stuff.... nuff said.
